I have a grandson who was in state custody in Tennessee. He did receive numerous injuries that were pretty severe while under the watch of DCS. They put my grandson in state custody because of his mother and maternal grandmother. My son and I had pending petitions for my grandson and they would never give him to us. This went on for over 3 years in and out of court. We had complied and completed everything DCS asked of us since September of 2011. We fought hearing after hearing. Finally in September of 2012 my son got his first CFTM which ended abruptly when the foster care mother was unable to control herself. We had to continue in October of 2012. In October of 2012 they could not find one thing that me or my son to complete. So they suggested that my son who has never been married to take a class for divorce parents. Which my son complete November of 2012. Yet DCS still would not release my grandson. Eventually we started contacting attorneys for a lawsuit. So DCS wanted out of the case in May of 2013. The did no walk through of a home. In fact the released my grandson back to his mother who was job less and homeless. See DCS was allowing the mother and grandmother (the abusers and neglectors) to live in my grandsons foster and safety placements. At one point in time DCS called a meeting 45 minutes away. And they had a hard time contacting the mother and maternal grandmother. So DCS called them at a bar and ask them to bring my grandson to their office. They had them bring my grandson after drinking. When they arrived there was no law enforcement called. And no arrest made. Even though the driver was intoxicated. I could go on and on. One of the case workers told the foster care mother she could ignore the court ordered visitations if she wanted to so it cost us visitations. Another case worker we had list her job as a “Bullsh*t sorter for the State of Tennessee!” And yet she is still a case worker. I could tell you some horrible stories. And I contacted every Senator, Representative, and the Governor to gain no help!!

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done
